Do you fear public speaking more than death??? Peachtree City Toastmasters can help. Toastmasters is a non-profit organization devoted to developing effective Communication and Leadership skills. Whether you are an executive, student, minister, teacher, engineer, or police officer to name a few, you probably have to speak in front of a group periodically. In Toastmasters, you'll learn how to successfully formulate, express, and sell your ideas and your self. Communication
Speaking to inform, persuade, entertain, motivate, or simply giving a toast, Toastmasters has a self-paced program for you. At a typical meeting, everyone talks; that's how you improve! You'll give impromptu speeches, introduce speakers, give prepared speeches, and other rolls, assuring you a wide variety of communication experiences. But that's not all, constructive feedback, or evaluation, is the heart of the Toastmasters program. Whenever you give a prepared speech, an evaluator will point out the strengths and offer suggestions for improving your next speech.Leadership
You can't learn to be a leader in one day; it takes practice. In Toastmasters, you'll build leadership skills when you organize and conduct meetings and motivate others to help you. You can earn leadership awards by working on leadership projects related to your personal or professional life or by serving as a club leader. There are also leadership opportunities at the Area, District and International levels.Don't be shy!
You are invited to come to our next meeting. Don't be shy, each meeting provides a very positive, professional and mutually supportive environment from the time you walk in the door to the time you leave. Whether you can't speak your name in front of a group or you are a competent public speaker, we have something to offer you.

Peachtree City Toastmasters meets in the Meeting Room above the cashiers in the Krogers located at the corner of Peachtree Parkway and GA Highway 74. Meetings start at 7:00 PM and will be on the first and third Mondays of each month. Please arrive about 15 minutes early so that the meeting will be able to start on time.
